I wish you could just once notice the sadness deep in my soul, believing that some day I could be with you. My eyes follow your every move, waiting to see your gaze fixed upon me; but it rarely does. Your face appeared to me! I felt your soft hair in my fingers; your body against mine. My shaky hands caressed your skin, as my lips met yours in ecstasy. All was unheard except your sweet words I Love You. The sight of you made my heart beat faster as if we wer newlyweds at the altar. That euphoric feeling surrounded both of us. But alas- I awakened for it was only a dream; A vivid image brought to life in a night vision. My eyes redden and tear, as I realize that my subconcious mind longs for something I can only have in my dreams. I wish you could just once notice the sadness deep in my soul, believing that some day, some way, I will be with you.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this in school because of someone I had a crush on that
wouldn't go out with me. Too bad they never did. :(
