I am alone I hide my face from the world And no one cares They don't care if I die or live I am afraid Of all my lies And my shames This is the real world I shalln't hide myself I am nobody I blend with the rest while still I stand out I long to feel someone's presence I wish they would care...about me...about me I am selfish I take everything without giving I took my pride Maybe that's why I need not to live I strip people of their rights I am a shadow I never go away I live through the hardships The pain of my sufferings I am me I can't transform into someone I once was No turning back I knew I should've kept my mouth shut
Reason for writing:
This is the way I sometimes feel. I know this poem kinda sounds like crap but I'm not an expert. I try to express myself and this is one way I find it easy. Look for some of my other poems!
