Ever since I met you That fateful Friday night, My days have been a blur, Yet everything feels so right. The first time that I saw you, Something stirred from deep within, A hidden part of me woke up, I couldn't hide my grin. And then much like a miracle, You came right up to me. I felt just like a school girl, Shaking at the knees! Then you sat down beside me, And we talked a little while. It seemed like a fantasy, I melted when you smiled. Now it's been a couple weeks, Since you walked through that door. And all that I can think about Is I want to see you more. I'm moving rather cautiously, I'm afraid of getting hurt. Please don't take my feelings And stomp them in the dirt. So now I want to thank you For helping me to see There is hope of finding love again. Maybe you and me?
