Him

by Tiffani - Not entered

He was so happy,
Only 15,
A birthday to come,
He was too soon,
I loved him like a brother,
He was the best,
Always together,
I cried when he left.

The horror came quick,
I couldn't believe it,
How could this happen?
How could this be?
I wanted to scream,
For the gleam in my eye
Had taken his life and left us to cry.

Well what had it been
That brought him so low?
What had happened to make him go?
His mother, his father, his brothers and us,
We loved him so much,
We missed him the same.

Now he's a mystery,
We ask ourselves why?
The bullet?
The life?
We'll never understand

We can try to remember,
The good and the bad
And how someone so perfect
Could leave us so soon...

Reason for writing:

My cousin and best friend, A.G, commited suicide two years ago. I love him and miss him forever.
