You lay back And watch the world pass by You expect others to do everything for you You don't even try I was your friend But no longer anymore Because what you did Brang back memories of before You yell in my face And don't even trust me If we were to remain friends What kinda friendship would that be? So you hang out with my BFF And talk behind my back Being kind and curteous Is one thing that you lack I don't want to go back To what it was before Because I'm afraid you'll hurt me But this time so much more.
Reason for writing:
Today, one of my friends was yelling at my BFF and I because she didn't want to do the work at school. She expects us to do everything for her. Also, if I hand a letter to someone, she always wants to read it cuz she thinks I wrote something bad about her in it. I just couldn't keep a friend like that. Thank you for reading this poem. ENJOY!
