Social Angst Spiked with Life ,Love ,and Hate
by Johnathan Richards

This little game is such a bore
Sorry I have to right things wrong

Thanks for the thanks I did not receive
Sad I am but it’s for you not me

Don’t know why I try so hard
In the end I’m the odd man out

Try to serve as long as I can
Sorry if I falter , its never enough

Wish life was not so long
That's all right , too lazy to end it all

I hope in the end it’s truly right
In the meantime , please use me up

Please only hear what I hear
Selfish as it is , trust me for now

Don’t worry about the tears
that’s how I breath

Take your hat off and take a bow
You haven’t won but might as well

Someday they’ll get what they want
For now I live to spite them all

One last line before I go
Don’t worry it means nothing at all

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem on a lonely valentine's day night.safe to say this poem is about love and friendship
