The Four Letter Word

by JoLynn Neilsen Virgo - Not entered

The clouds grew gray
the sun did not shine
My heart was heavy.
I thought of you in your
dreamless state.

One four letter word took
 you from me.
To a place we only subconsciencely
know about
Yes, I cried for myself, for your family,
 and for your friends
but I can not cry one cold
 empty tear for you.

You were in pain to much
to humanly bear...
the emotional was the worst.
And now I have to ask ...
Was IT Worth IT.

Was She Worth It???

Was It worth your life.

You hid yourself from everyone..
Ashamed .. you said.
Scared...I said.

But I got near you
I tapped into the black hole
And you said love....
And though a illness seperated us..
We never shared the passion of the flesh.
But the passion of our hearts.

I stayed threw the worse
And held your head as the last
 words that you said was..
I love You...

And when you died
I thought My heart would burst
into a thousand pieces.

So one four letter took you from me...
We could have loved each other more.

So I ask again Was She Worth It Was It Worth

                ...............AIDS

Reason for writing:

This is not a true story ..... though it could be.
