The Naked Truth

by Sabrina Johnson - Not entered

Exposed
Look at what you have forced me to,
cowering in the shadows.
Do you know the real me?
Or, do you just see the wrapping?
Open the outside ever so careully,
do not tear
or the contents might break.
Shattered
The woman on the corner,
her dreams,fantasies,hopes
ruined by hands like yours.
Abandoned
left alone on a cold, lonely street
the walls are caving in.
Will no one help me?
