Emotion

by Hayden Randall, Sagittarius - Not entered

Unfriendly feelings come unto me,
A confusion of love surely unseen.
 Unfriendly reasons spring to mind,
 Ambiguous actions speak to kind.

A duo of hearts vie each other,
Denial of emotion, discard one's brother.
 Actions dealt, cards are taboo-
Friendly fightings over a cumbersome two.

Daily meetings, a laugh is shared,
Between two souls a regret is spared.
On the grapevine, the stories unfold-
The memory is naive, easy to mould.

Simplistic amnesia, false or too true,
Open air agreement two minds are aclue.
Patience too dearly, not strong too contain
A deep cascadence of love starved pain.

Reason for writing:

This was inspired by my love life in high school, and one
girl in particular who could never be mine.
