SCORPIO

by Kelly, Aquarian - Not entered

Scorpio

Piercing lazer beams for eyes
They draw me in and hypnotize
That velvet voice that lies and lies.....
Those weapons of your fine disguise.

They kill the ones who try to pry
Behind the mask, to help inside
The child who cries, alone, despised
And wishes he could die, sometimes.

Will he ever lift the mask?
Reveal the shame, shake-off the past?
Allow his heart to fill again
With all God's Love, waiting for him?

It's such a shame, in this big world
To not choose Love, whatever form
To turn your cheek from tender lips
And slap the one whom you should kiss.

THE END

Reason for writing:

Love turned Sour.
