Alone, all alone i sit here and dream dreams about you we are in a world that is blind,, not by hate, but love where our love can break free and dive into the sea and swim forever Alone, all alone i sit here and think thoughts about you the memories flow through my mind like sand through a childs hand i remember the gaze of your eyes, the touch of your hands, the warmth of you lips. how i long for your touch to touch me one more time Alone, all alone i sit here and cry tears for you remembering the days when we were together, waitng for the days when we will be again oh, how it hurts to see you but know that i can't touch you, to hear you but know i can't speak to love you but know my heart is paralized i long for the day to come when the world will see from us that love conqures all, but until then, here i sit-- Alone, all alone.
Reason for writing:
i wrote this poem about 3 years ago. it is the only one i have ever written. i was in love with a guy that i could never be with because of the cicumstances that surrounded us. we carried on our relationship in secret for a while, but it became to hard. i still see him everyday, and my feeling come rushing back. this poem came to me one night as i was laying in bed and i have kept it in my journal for three years and i thoght i would share it with you.
