A Breath of Here

by Jim Watson; Aries - Not entered

Take a breath of here
before you disappear
Tears i shed ask what is it?
But little do they know. I grow.
And no place do they want to visit,
The tears i shed that ask what is it?
Before they melt away,
In the life i miss today.

Still i grow -
Limited by knots tied to and fro
That cut me as i go to grow.
To be untangled is the dream
The hope that underlies every scene.
The scene that ends with disappearance
of you from me and i
The scene will quiver and fade.
This era fishes
For brand new wishes
But nothing does it catch.
My future turns a bitter wretch.
With my childhood you run,
And maybe you will have some fun,
But the question must be posed
What runs through your head when you are all alone.
Do you see what you used to see?
Or did life change when you met me?
And here is what i mean:

As you row merrily down your stream,
Remember that life is but a dream -
And take a breath of here,
Before you disappear.

Reason for writing:

To she who listens, and then shows me the way. Thank you.
