Today I pray for tomorrow, A prayer that I hope will save, A very fragile Earth. We take for granted what we have, What we have seen and held. Each day we borrow the natural resources We don't see it coming, A day when the oil doesn't flow, A day when the air isn't clean. But soon that day will sneak up on us, Aday when the water isn't there. And when the animals of the world are only seen in picture books. That say has been coming for a while, And we are blind to it. We live our lives unaware of this danger. How many animals must go extinct? How many forests must be made into parking lots? How many children must suffer because the water is unsafe? What will it take to open our eyes. It can be changed, We CAN change the future. Today i pray a prayer for tomorrow, A prayer of HOPE, A prayer of LIFE, A prayer for the future of all the EARTH.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because many people in this world don't realize the great dangers that we face. I would like to save what I love, and i hope that through writing I can convince others that there is a problem that we all need to be aware of.Birth sign: Not entered
