Heavy rain blurs my vision,
I cannot see the vast
lightning illuminating
the blackened sky.
The sun has come and gone,
ferocious thunder bellows
out warnings of times to come.
It defeans my ears, I cannot hear.
My mouth remains silent,
for I wish not to speak.
I walk in a bleak world that
darkens my soul with its dark water.
