She

by Paul Peters(Scorpio) - Not entered

There she is; my only love,
So unique; she is my dove
Of beauty and peace and flowing hair
Of red satin and silk splashing around in the air
She is a butterfly; so wishful and free
Beautiful as she flys and colorful as can be
She is a puppy; so soft and cute
She needs someone to care for her so not to get the boot
She is a cat; so playful and purrrrrrfect
I only wish she would play with me and help me get on track
She is a lion; so strong and amazing
She can take care of herself and is very surprizing
She is a mouse; so small and quite
She is very shy but can at any time cause a riot
She is a rattlesnake; so ready and prepared
She is there to help and spread poison of love and care
She is a friend; so thoughtful and caring
She is there to help and understand my fearings
She is loving, caring, and special; what more could I ask?
To be a couple, will be such a task
Of fear and tears and a loss of grace
Keep me from this longing goal to feel embraced
But until I may, she will always be
A beautiful and loving friend, who will always be free.........

Reason for writing:

The person that inspried me to write this I have known for 2 years now. As I got to know her, my love for her grew. And earlier this pasy school year, during a play I asked her if she wanted to go out. She said no. I got some insight about it later and I heard that she died after someone guessed who it was and that same person told me she felt disgusted about me asking her out. I started to feel depressed, becasue I now know that she will never love me as I love her, so I wrote this poem so that I can put my love for her into words so that others(mostly friends)can know how I felt and feel for her. So thats where this poem comes from. And I hope that one day that Sara Mace may one day read a copy of this poem, so that she can know as well.........
