Swimmer's Doing

by Marcie *SAG* - Not entered

Focus and concentration takes over
The ever so meek and small figure,
The water glistens and the voices shout,
Her body pounds
Lik a punk rockers drums,
She soothes her hands along her bathing suit,
Gently places her hands on the block,
Then grazes them over the
Top the whistle blows and voices shriek,
She steps onto the waiting
Block and sees the stillness,
Breath,
Wait,
Think,
And then through a stretching of stillness
He Booms TAKE YOUR MARKS

The Swim
All the strokes were
Crisp
Smooth
Strong
Fresh
Powerful
Exceptional
Takes the lead

Until every face begs with unsounding screams

so quick
            so quick
                        so quick
Right before the shouts
The touch..........it's ME.

Reason for writing:

I had to for skool, swimming rules, and ummm.... if you have
anything to say about it write me! :)
