a lonely death.

by kelli bircket (Aries) - Not entered

a finger left bleeding
by a beautiful rose.
a cooling wind
that never blows.
a child that cries,
alone, unheard.
a flower with no petals,
a poem with no words.
a face that's now hidden
behind a look of pure sin.
a game played too long.
now no one can win.
'cause the one who had loved me
has just left forever.
and the ties that did bind,
i must now learn to sever.
afraid, and so lonely,
i close my eyes to cry.
and kill the one who
wants to die.
