#160 Faith is not a vow of honesty But a promise made in time-- Boy, loving her's your only crime- Oh, you oughta know she gets around Not only when you're not around- Oh, you gotta wake up Boy, Don't ya know, you're another toy, of hers When you call yourself on a vow of faith She's just another waste Leaving you lying on the side of the road Oh, trust and hope and faith and love, Where will it begin? When ya know you're just a Stranger in this cruel, cruel world Are the pieces starting to fit in? Boy, there's pieces of another him- Not seeming to fit in She's getting around with another You'll find her with another Once your pride sets in Oh, thought will come and thoughts will go In and outta your mind But once you try to push them back There'll be another you will find Standing behind you in this line, of life They're all in line for her- The one considered yours Oh, trust and hope and faith and love, Will it all begin? It seems your just a stranger in her cruel, cruel world Are the pieces starting to fit in? 'Cuz there's pieces of this puzzle That don't fit in- Others of another's life that won't fit in. Oh, don't turn your back Boy, 'Cuz you'll find her with another She'll be indecent with another So you have to ask yourself: It's 2am, do you know where your girlfriend is?
