Forgotten Love

by Alexis Croce-Reisman Aquarius - Not entered

Staring into your deep green eyes
Was like listening to a mothers sweet soft lullabies
Calm and serene like a lake that is still
I had more love for you than anyone ever will
Sometimes I was unwanted
And you made that quite clear
But when you neededd me the most
I was always somewhere near
Some said that we belonged together
And some said that we made a cute pair
We weren't boyfriend and girlfriend once
I count three times on my calander right there
Overe the years I have tried
To make my love for you grow less and less
I have to tell you that it was hard
Because sometimes you tore me into a mess
I know we are coming to an end
I can feel it all over me
I just want to let you know that I love you
And no matter where we are
That will always be

Reason for writing:

This poem is dedicated to the love of my life for the past
two years. He didn't know what we had when we had it, so I
guess it is his loss.If any of you have had a broken heart
you know how I feel. Now he is goint to a different school
and will probobly forget asbout me.
