Going away

by Rob Stevens, Scorpio - Not entered

	I must go now
	for this life is hell
	for I have a meaning
	that I cannot tell

I am going to the beyond
	where it is free
	I’ll be one again
	I’ll be me

	This world is dark
for that is why I embark
to the light skies beyond the rolling clouds
that shrouds my soul and imprisons my heart

	Let me go
	Let me go
	I do not belong here
	I fear this place
	my soul is disgraced

I will break this life of chains
and will walk again in the absence
	of my pains

	I must go
	it is my time
	to free the soul
	and become whole

Reason for writing:

This poem is based on a suicide that happened in my neighborhood. I was really disturbed by it, and I felt I needed to write a poem about it. It was performed by soemone I really didn't know, but I knew her family.
