Questioning My Heart

by Chris Sheffler - Aries

The ribbon walls are being torn down,
your shield of paper has been broken through,
and you are alone, weak and vulnerable,
but what's in your heart, whose love is true?
When you look into this eyes on an autumn eve,
and hear the words he says from his mind,
but not from his heart and said without love,
is this what you want, the artifical feeling kind?
When you kiss him at night and then say goodbye,
and he walks away speaking words of so few,
your hearts ablaze and you think of him,
but as he is leaving, is he thinking of you?
These are the question to you I must ask,
for I can not answer for him so you see,
but I can speak for myself and how I feel,
I love you so, but your heart holds my key,
I'd always be true and make you a queen,
for you are an angel that I've fallen for,
I don't have much to give more than my heart,
but I'd give anything to you, my dear, who I adore...
