The Candle

by Aimee (Aquarius) - Not entered

We started to undress each other,
letting our passion burn
so it could ignite our love.

Our bodies naked in the darkness,
with the moonlight shining through the window,
we are vulnerable, but full of excitement.

The first touch came with a tremble of pleasure
The first kiss; a sensation of weakness,
but a powerful urge to go on,
longing for one another's body.
Our breath trying to catch some air,
we could feel our rapid heartbeats pulsing
through each others' lips,
as our bodies became one.

As we lay in each others' arms, exhausted,
we reached for one more tender kiss, and
we knew that our love will burn on forever.
