Run From Time (Fear's Fortune)

by Steve - Not entered

Vaccuum closing in
Thrust against the wall
Can’t cope
Can’t deal
Swallowing the pressure
Divulge the power
Clenched eyes shut
And freeze the world
Rigid in time
To run away in darkness
Escape the imprisonment
Chains break
And as the eyes awaken
No notice of lost
Would the world see?
Tick on as though?
While I watch from above
Without looking
Breathing easily
But heaviness still crushing
The sanguine rush
Still the prey
No escape but succumption
For to stare down the lion
Is tobe predatated surely
Breath held tight
Fade back in
To be shaded out
Still watching from afar
As my feet tread the fear

Reason for writing:

I was feeling pretty low, and it seemed as though nothing could go right.
I wondered that if time froze, and I disappeared, would anyone notice when it returned?
