The Ship

by Jimmy P Aries - Not entered

The ship has been battered on seas wild and strong,
And everything now has been drowned.
I knew this would happen, I knew all along,
And you are no-where to be found.

It's lonely where I am just passing the time,
Wondering why did you go,
Stand in the rain 'till I'm losing my mind,
'Cus there's some things I've just got to know.

Taking it all just like a man should,
But inside has all been destroyed,
The buildings are falling like I knew that they would,
And the people have all gone and died.

I miss you like crazy, you know that I do,
And I can't face it all on my own.
Sometimes I wake up screaming for you,
I forget that I'm here all alone.

Why don't you call me or write me a note?
Just a small sign to say you still care,
Look hard and you'll see my body afloat,
Out close to the ship sinking there.

Reason for writing:

    Speaks for it-self!!
