The last day has come And brought an end to our fun Now you have gone How could i have ben so wrong You left me on that summer day Took your things and went away You wouldn't even turn around Just left me crying on the ground You said you would leave Why couldn't i just belive You said it was true I didn't listen cuz i loved you I couldn't imagine living life without you Now i struggle to make it though Was that our last kiss Or will we meet again in bliss I will always remember that dreadful day When you decided to go away But i'll soon be fine Don't worry about this broken heart of mine
Reason for writing:
This poem was written about me x-boyfriend. He ws leaving and i couldn't put how i felt into words, so i wrote a poem for him. The poem didn't save our relationship...(i didn't think it would)....but it did give me a way to express how i felt.
