A rendezvous with clouds

by Deepak Tayal,Leo - Not entered

A true walk in the clouds, it was
A cloud here and a cloud there,
	And one made for me,
would come and hit and rain on me.

A place as beautiful as a dream could be,
a place where those lazy clouds come to life,
like the king of the skies,
to drive you beyond their empire.

Standing watching the land and the clouds,
locked together in an eternal love,
I heard them say, don't come here,
drawing me into their fold all the same.

What a sight it was to behold,
no, the clouds are created not to rain but,
to love the barren, suffering land.
Alas, now they are back to laziness,
	Wandering in search of love,
going on with their business of making rain.

Reason for writing:

After coming back from a trip to a beautiful hill
station in Southern part of India.
