The Day I Met You

by Red Alf - Not entered

The day that I met you, a feeling I felt,
That you were the one, my heart you did melt.
Out of my fantacies, of you I have dreamed,
I couldn't see you clearly, but I knew you it seemed.
It was dark that first night, when you came up to me,
Your beautiful face was all I could see,
That was enough, for my heart you then caught,
Your face became trapped in my every thought.
At your kind sweet face, I could not look,
You were too good for me, a queen to a crook.
When you said hello, my strength became weak,
I could hardly find voice, in order to speak.
That day I'll remember for quite a long while,
The day I met you, the day of a smile.
