Costa Rican Dawn

by Annika-Scorpio - Not entered

Fog rolls over the hills
Enveloping it in its moistness
Patches of pinks and reds
Invite the rising sun
Erasing the threatening shadows.

Reason for writing:

Written in April when I was in sitting in the airport at dawn and I was watching the fog settle over the rainforest as I was waiting for my plane
