The Wave

by Jimmy P Aries - Not entered

You're the wave,
In a sea of calm.
You were the world,
That I held in my hands.
That tremble now
To think your name,
Your crashing waves
Scream out my blame.
My mental armour
Was washed away,
My fallen down angels,
Nothing left to say.

You swam beneath my icy calm,
To find the warmth beneath,
Because you made me what I am,
I regret what I can never be.
