Turning the Page

Time to turn the page--MC

Sitting on the beach, she watches the sun go down

A tear dries on her cheek, so sad are her eyes

Her beautiful blonde hair blowing in the salty breeze

The look in her eyes is heartbreaking, who did this to her?

Who tore her heart out and made her cry so hard?

She looks up at the clouds,

staring as if to try and see the shapes they sometimes make.

Slowly she lies down on the cool sand, her hands covering her face.

Suddenly she rises, stands up and spreads out her arms as if to fly

She turns around and around, like a little kid on a playground.

Laughing, she realizes that her life will go on, her heart is ok.

It was just in shock, but its beating at a normal pace now.

Time to live life, time to be herself.

Turn another page in her book, she has so many pages left to fill.

Why waste them with tears?

Reason for writing:

    Its about moving on.
