A time long ago, when lives were much simpler You said to me, Come let us be one Then you turned around and loved another Those times were harder Everyday we sit and wonder, what do things really mean? You said, Come back to me, I love you Those were words you should have not said You left me for someone better and after the ride was over You can back to me because you knew that I would be there. I am here, alone in my shadow..but I do not want your recycled love You said, I will love you forever A time long ago, I would have believed you...those times were simpler

I wrote this about someone that I loved once, a long time ago. That person moved on to someone new and then came back when they were threw..Its about trying to figure out with your heart or your head what to do.
