Somewhere Out There

by Bobbie J. Brown - Scorpio

As I look across the sky,
way up in the deep dark night,
I can see a star and wonder why,
I can't seem to find Mr. Right.

I wish I may,
I wish I might,
fall in love with you tonight,
and if you can
just hold me tight,
and love me back for the rest of my life.

I have searched low and also high,
as if I'm running out of time.
Give me a clue as to where you hide.
Tell me the place where my dreams I will find.

I wish I may,
I wish I might,
have you here by my side,
and if we can
win this fight,
everything else can be left behind.

Just how far will I have to climb,
or how many paths will I have to try,
before the key is in my sight?
The key that opens the heart to Mr. Right.

I wish I may,
I wish I might,
give you love from here inside,
and if I can
show you the light,
together our love will shine so bright.

As I look across the sky,
way up in the deep dark night,
I wish for you to hear my cry,
if you're out there somewhere tonight.
