ran through an apple field
looking for your hand
someone to hold onto
someone to understand

i'd give up everything
to be with you one night
i dont know what to do
but my heart says its all right

to feel myself with you
i'd give it all
it's inside your shadow
i would grow up small

my thoughts i'd keep
inside of my head
my own life i'd give
for you to live instead

i'd love you in silence
if it was better that way
for you to listen
to what i had to say

i'll always wish 
that i was with you
in your arms or near
doing what you do
