i cant be who i am
without the acid who made me
the drug that understood
made a show i could only see

i dont care what you say
the acid made me feel strong
you knew that i knew
it made me weaker all along.

one more trip wouldnt matter
my life already came apart
acid was the only way
to deal with the emmotions in my heart

i fell awake--i needed you
i thought that you would understand

to prove to it i can
