Sentiments Expressed

Words on a  piece of paper
How possibly can I convey
The only way that I know
Sentiments expressed today
 
Was I looking  down to deep
Or searching way up high  
Send me back to me the truth 
Don’t return to me a lie

I know the hour is late
In hours my thoughts grew
I can express my feelings
Mine were always true

Now do I go on reaching
With expressive parts of me
Mine came from my heart
Were you too blind to see

I wonder how you feel
I  now let my feelings fly
I opened up to you 
I could not tell a lie
