July Moonlight

by Amanda Marie Libra - Not entered

paper walls
won't hide your tears
as your emotions fall about your feet
don't whisper those
tones of innocence anymore...
moonlight bore witness
and some can't tell
the difference in your eyes
but I saw your thoughts unwind
about your mortal coil
with your emotions unzipped
and innocence undone.

Reason for writing:

Uhm, first time I ever submitted anything. I was just hoping to get some feedback, positive or negative
