Cleveland

by Lee (libra) - Not entered

I do not care for
baseball scores
which chafe my
poor thoughts
for Cleveland which
has swallowed them
up and licks his lips
now as his corpulence
settles down right between
my ears consuming
other scurrying notions
like trying not to think
of an elephant
Cleveland mocks my creativity
flashing me pictures of himself
wearing sludgy grey-white in wintertime
ah, Cleveland, you do seduce

Reason for writing:

trying in vain to be creative during the indians-orioles world series game
