Hello Beege... I'm thinking about you...
I don't know how... I do without you...
I miss you so... and everyday...
I look to god in prayer... I pray...
Dear Lord, Take care of Billie-Jo...
because you know... I love her so...
Beneath our country's flag... she stands...
Protect her. Her life is in your hands...
Guide her... now that she is grown...
Guide her... during her times alone...
Guide her... while she's on her own...
Then.., Please... guide her safely home.

Reason for writing:
The grandchild that I raised has grown up and is in bootcamp beginning her journey..in the Navy... She loves poetry and so I send her a poem each week and she adds it to her little book that I made for her to put them in. She wrote me a letter and told me that she shares that book with the other girls in her barracks and so I thought I would share these poems with others also. poem #1 in book.
