Innocence Gone

by Bridgette *Cancer* - Not entered

All she agreed to was a simple date,
not knowing there'd be a terrible twist of fate.
She knew something was wrong,
when he drove around too long.
He drove to a secluded spot,
a long since deserted parking lot.
Nobody anywhere for miles around,
nobody to hear any sound.
When she told him she wanted to leave,
he laughed and said No. You owe me.
When he leaned in,
she tried once again.
Please let me go! she began to plead.
But he was too far into the deed.
He violently ripped off her shirt,
while her whole body began to hurt.
She finally managed to open the dorr,
she began to run and heard him roar.
He chased her, he was so fast.
She began to pray she could go back to the past.
She knew she couldn't when he grabbed her wrist,
and also when she felt the pain of his fist.
He knocked her down to the ground,
she no longer made a sound.
She knew she must give up the fight,
though what he was doing wasn't right.
She began to sob and cry,
screaming out Why God? Why?
She didn't fight until he was done,
then once again tried to run.
He grabbed her by her hair,
to fight him she didn't dare.
He dragged her to the car,
then didn't drive too far.
He took her home, she silently closed the door.
She threw her clothes on the floor.
She cried so hard, so many tears,
as she laid on her bed, calming her fears.
She sat up and dried her face,
around the room she began to pace.
She went outside, with her clothes, to the porch,
inside the trash can, she started a fire with a torch.
She watched her burning clothes light up the sky,
without realizing it, she once again began to cry.
She went back inside, turned on a hot shower,
she tried so hard to wash his filth off of her.
She tries to understand why he stole her innocence,
why he chose to commit this awful sin.
She knows she can't let anyone know,
anyways it's over now, he let her go.
Besides, it's her fault right? She'd be so ashamed.
Once again, she'd be the one blamed.
So even if it eats her whole life away,
never ever, not one little word, will she ever dare say.
