I thought you were the one, The one to carry me on, But I guess our life was never meant to be, And so my new life has begun I cried every night, Wishing that things were just alright, If only things were the way they were, Before that night you came to my door Looking into my eyes you said Things that I wish you would regret, Loveless words that I had feared, How I wish those things weren’t meant The tears began to flow from my eyes And from that day forth I have cried, A hole in my heart has begun to swell, Killing the love that once had dwell Now I wander aimlessly, Looking for a life that could never be, The happy times we use to have, Anything but the times that were sad I wish you were the one for me, And I dwell on that possibility, But time grows dim towards the end, And now I must face the truth that has been You really didn’t love me as I had love you, And now I face that fact as true, And so good bye to this cruel world we dwell, I am off to seek my peace away from this hell...

I felt sad when I broke up with my boyfriend so I
decided to write about it to help me better deal with the
situation.
