Fallen Tears As I gazed into your eyes, I was lost in a sea of tears, as deep and blue as my soul. For I knew you could never be mine. The tears streamed down my face like rivers from the tallest mountain, and all I could do is turn away, so you wouldn't see the pain in my soul. For I would never let you see me cry. I would never forgive myself if I ever caused you the slightest amount of guilt, or pain, or sadness. I love you too much to let you hurt. So I drown alone in my ocean of tears, and remember my last sight of you. Your eyes, as blue as the sea, knowing you'll never love me. -Jada Marie Andrews 8-16-98
