Still Waters

by Mark Serrano - Not entered

Often still waters run deep
The deeper they are, the less rippled they become.
Yet the more wavy they are,
The shallow they become.

Often wavy waters are painted through
The more color they get, the shiny they become.
But still waters are never painted
The less they get, the deeper they become.

Often shun run to these waters
The more they're avoided,
The more they're ignored,
The more they stay.

Yet rippled waters are more not shun
And yet the one who tries to go
And yet the one who tries to run
And yet they run more.

Often waters flow
Because streams rush from the sea,
Because the sea saw their pain,
The sea called drought.

Often when still waters are gone,
When still waters are dead
And when water flows within
We realize our tears and forever lost the waters that stilled.

Reason for writing:

It's never too late to love those waters that stilled. Isn't it?
