I went to a party thinking it would be fun, but i felt dirty and shameful by the time it was done. i had a few drinks too many and ended up in your bed, i told you no although i could barely lift my head. you didn't listen to me so i thought maybe you didn't hear, but it was all to plain to see when i heard you breathing in my ear. you didn't care that my answer was no, you ignored me completely when i told you to let me go. finally the alcohol did it's job and just in time, i passed out while you finished your dirty crime. what you did to me that night almost eight months ago, was filthy and disgusting as if you didn't know. thanks to you i wake up every night with a nightmare with your name, after what you did to me i will never be the same. afraid to be alone, afraid to trust, and it's all because you couldn't contain your lust. my life and my soul were taken from me eight months ago, when you said yes but i said no.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because eight months ago i was raped and
i thought by writing this it would help other people who have
been throught he same thing to cope better. Being raped is
a horrible thing to have happen but you can get through
it, believe me i'm living proof!
