Of Contented Age

by Diane Berardi - Not entered

When age furrows
lines of Status
in my countenance
and Time,
is of no consequence
to me on the `morrow,
this Old World and I
will turn up a crack-mouthed
smile at the knowledge
that these are eternal:
Tide, Time, and Continuity.
