Ode To Little Jane

by dace (bad sign) - Not entered

Do you like that,
Little Jane?
Does it help,
To ease your pain?
Make you happy once again?
Would you like some cotton-candy?
Manly handsome dumb and dandy?
With a love lust lush in brandy?
Confidence and things to say,
How can you let that get away?
You wanna love.
You wanna pay?
I can love you,
All night long.
Until the dawn.
Until I'm gone.
One night stand alone,
It's all good though,
When all you know,
Is all a game,
And all a show,
It's all the same,
And in the end, you're just a name
On whims that whisper,
Little Jane.

Reason for writing:

inspired by a friend, an aquatance, and another poem.
