Hidden In a valley, past a dream, there lies a place where nothing seems, the cave of wonders, hidden carefully behind a face. A treasured jewel, guarded by uncertainty, masked by fear, behind a curtain of shame, a rushing tear which always came, guilt's uncanny sneer. Such a beautiful, wanting face, why hide it in such a place? hidden from light, shunned of sound, killed if found. by: jen d email- bdysart@compuserve.com
Reason for writing:
This poem is about me and almost every person i know. this is a matter i feel strongly about. People, including meself, hide the true person within.i wrote this out of frustration with myself for letting me hide my true self and becoming just another dead head in the world.why can't people just be?Birth sign: Not entered
