Ocean

by Audy Taurus - Not entered

There is an Ocean I compare to you
The constant flow of waves proves your love true
Your hair is as shiny and beautiful as the sun
The radiance flows off you when I watch you run
Your deep depths offer so much to explore
It leaves me with a burning desire for more
The dark brown sand reminds me of your beautiful tan
The wind is your reassuring voice reminding I'm the only man
I realize the clouds should be your home
Since there is no place on earth worthy of you alone
As the sun set the glowing moon moved to the sky
Istood there alone until I saw you from the corner of my eye
Your dress is white I hear no sound
When you come close I see there's no one around
I take your hand it is soft as snow
The longer I hold it the less I want to let go
Everything came back to what I thought that day
And then I realized it was meant to be this way
I pulled you close feeling your breath and smelling the sea
I still couldn't believe it was your precious body against me
You moved closer and held me tight
I knew that I would never let you go this night
As our lips met our eyes were closed
My heart slowed its beating and then froze
To my unbelief your appearance had gone away
And all I had left were the thoughts from that day
In all my heart I wish you had been
With me that night beside your ocean
