My Team By Lauren Raczka I've seen my team lose, I've seen my team win. I've seen my team go through many things, like the firing of Larry Quinn. But my team stuck together, cause that's what teams do. Through think and thin my team always came through. My team have changed a lot thins year, they'll never be the same. New faces, new additude, but they'll always have their team name. To every loss that was handed down, to every win my team won. My team didn't say it was one person, no, they all get the job done. At the beginning of the season, things didn't look clear. Something was wrong with my team, and of course there was fear. But I stuck with my team, cause I knew that they could. And all of a sudden they started winning, and they knew they could. The season was over with, everyone was very impressed. I was very proud of my team though, cause they gave it their best. There's things to forget about this season, and there's things to remember. The thirteen game winning streak, and of course the month of December. Everyone is different on my team. They are all one of a kind. They all have a special talent on the ice that makes them all shine. They fly ove r the ice on their skates. They put the puck in the back of the net. My team have great defence, great goaltending with all that we're set. My team has learned a lot this year, they have all learned to trust. To trust each other and themselves, which is always a must. My team has confidence now, more then they did last year. Now they know they can win every game, and there's no more fear. But there is one thing that's missing from my team, one thing they all want more. One thing they're all dedicated to, one thing they all work for. My team wants to win the Stanley Cup this year, and I know that they can. Cause I've always stood up for my team, cause I am their biggest fan. The Buffalo Sabres, are who they are and that's what I mean. I will stand up for them no matter what, cause they will always be My team
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem to tell the players, and fans of the Buffalo Sabres, that they've come along way since the beginning of the season. I was very proud of the Sabres making it into the playoffs, and then going how far they went. No one ever expected them to make it to the Eastern Con. finals.Birth sign: Not entered
