Writer's Block

by Brad Gray - Not entered

Have you ever had a time
When there's nothing in your head
You put your pen to paper
Then stop and go to bed
During this relaxing time
You hope for inspiration
But you wake up with no extra thoughts
Heavy sleep for the duration
So you sit down for another hour
Thinking what to write
And before you know it your day of writing
Has slowly turned to night
And so I sit and rack my brains
To churn out another rhyme
And so I hope for inspiration
To hit some other time

Reason for writing:

I couldn't think of anything to write about so I wrote about why I couldn't think of anything to write about.
