Enclosure

by heather r - Not entered

Walls
All about me
As thick as the world
Yet clear like glass
Everyone, everything
Unceasingly
On another side
In another land
Sometimes looking in
Never reaching out
Bestow
A gift of confinement
Trapping in sweet loneliness
Winsome silence
Of nostalgic hope
Consolation
Soon it shall crumble
Coldness will weep within

Reason for writing:

this is about the walls we build around ourselves to hide
our true personalities and to protect ourselves from the
world. we grow lonely but we form these walls ourselves
and are afraid to let others in, afraid to let people
know who we really are. please e-mail me and tell me what
you think.
